Don’t Be The Annoying Co-Worker
Most people when asked if they have the perfect job will give you a look and ask you if there is such a thing. Like life – there will always be something wrong that you can find at your work place. Having to do the work is something that people can work through, but dealing with co-workers that drive you crazy isn’t so easy.
But often we don’t look to ourselves as being the one who makes others mad and annoyed. You think that people love you. While you may think you have the best intentions in mind, your co-workers may not see it that way.
Constantly making jokes – especially of the off-color variety – doesn’t make you irresistible, it makes you irritating; giving unsolicited advice is more invasive than it is sensitive; and while you may think you’re a martyr for coming to work despite being sick, your co-workers think you’re a masochist.
While you can’t get along with everyone all the time, you can at least do your part to contribute to a peaceful, productive work environment. Have a little consideration for your co-workers. Don’t be that one who makes things worse.
